What are the blue zones?

The blue zones are regions of the world that were discovered to possess an unusually high number of centenarians, with many people living to 100 or longer. These super-agers had lower rates of heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, and are mentally sharp well into old age. Drawing inspiration from the world's longest-lived regions, blue zones values are rooted in the belief that a plant-slant diet, routine natural movement, strong relationships and a sense of purpose are key pillars to living a life crafted for longevity.

What are Blue Zones food guidelines?

There are similarities in the eating habits of people across the blue zones. Here are the guidelines:  bluezones.com/recipes/food-guidelines/

Is Blue Zones Kitchen a grocery product or a cookbook?

Dan Buettner is a National Geographic Fellow and New York Times best-selling author. Among Buettner’s recent Blue Zones books are Blue Zones Kitchen and Blue Zones American Kitchen (danbuettner.com/books/). These cookbooks and the lessons Buettner learned during his research have inspired us to bring Blue Zones Kitchen to the grocery store – and your kitchen. We encourage you to make and enjoy the recipes in the cookbooks. And when you are strapped for time, having Blue Zones Kitchen meals in your freezer can help you stay on-track.

What does Crafted For Longevity mean? If I eat your food, will I live longer?
